Air-Scrubbing Nano-Particle Technology and ART, meet WENDY! [MK]
This is an amazing example of whats possible at the intersection of Art, Architecture/Public Spaces and Green Technology.
Meet "Wendy", the MoMA PS1 Young Architects Program. She uses a groundbreaking catalytic Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) technology that's embedded in the folded blue fabric that makes up her iconic starburst form. The titanium nano-particle-infused spray that coats Wendy's spiky dress draws NO2 from the air, neutralizing airborn pollutants to clean the sky above the PS1 courtyard.
